Sometime I wonder if the global perception of the world could shift to arctic-centric view instead of east-west as climate change careens out of control. Canada and Greenland will be prime real estate in this alignment.
It may not be out of the realm of possibility that Think Tanks have told the US government that a realistic scenario is the lower 48 for all intents and purposes becoming uninhabitable. So in Trump’s addled mind he couldn’t help but blurt out that they inevitably will need to annex Canada if they are to continue to exist.
