      That would be political speech which is ironic to complain about as US own constitution would protect it. Also your source literally says the meaning is not literal.

      The slogan has historically been contextualized as a reaction to the U.S. government’s policies towards Islamic countries and merely an expression of outrage at those policies, not a wish for literal death for American people themselves.

        They’re also saying “Death to Israel,” but I guess they’re not talking about literal death there either - despite the fact that that’s what’s explicitly stated in the Hadiths. Although it doesn’t talk about Israel but Jews.

              ‘Marg’ also means ‘demise’ and ‘damage’ as it isn’t an english word. Point being we have a word that doesn’t directly translate.
