    I agree. The Nursin Home from the article cost you about 3000 € a Month. Its not comparable to the shitholes normal people have to die in that I’ve worked in.

      That’s a regular price for a basic nursing home as far as I know. We paid 3500 per month (7000 for two parents) for a nursing home that looked good at first but turned out to be horrible. Due to what I would call criminal negligence they both died after 1 1/2 years.

        3500€ is like twice the average pension and more than normal people earn a month in Germany.

        Also in Germany, there is a lot of negligence in nursing homes. I also wouldn’t trust NatGeo on info about Europe anymore.

        If you want a reliable source about how things are in Europe, try DW (Deutsche Welle).

          I know, but that’s the effective cost. You can get financial assistance though, it depends on things like “Pflegegrad” and other factors. But still, the system is horribly broken.
