What does the distinction even mean? If an american contributes to a Foss project it is all of a sudden no longer European?

Its getting slightly better over recent years though. Russians, Ukrainians, Jews and Roma are less liked/more hated for example :)

I understand your argument, but that’s capitalism for you. Your energy producing companies surely profit from it. If you don’t want to be part of the free market then leave it like the UK. Or pay some Russians to drag their anchors across some cables again idk.
