7 days agoThis is just more child abuse disguised as “parental rights”. It becomes clear how harmful this is when you realise that not all parents have their childrens best interests at heart (even if they think they do and sincerely mean well) and allowing parents to censor the information children have available to them allows them to censor information that the children learn only too late to prevent harm.
It’s more about experience than age. If you prevent 13 year olds from gaining online experience, they’ll have the same level of inexperience when you expose them to the internet at 16.
