This is going to be horrible. We’ve been trying to get a quote from them for a bit bucket subscription for the past 6 months with no success. I doubt we’ll be getting anything faster now.

It’s a matter of timing; if the EU does it, it’ll be on a timeline with multiple phases and lots of exceptions. If Russia does it, it’ll be sudden and give the EU little time to figure out alternatives (and with the Epstein war, it’ll probably be very expensive for them).

It’s a lesson in not pushing important things off just because they’re annoying.
