6 days agoNot really. It is just, do we want to proceed yes/no. Of course adversaries can try to influence this. But a democracy has to be able to deal with that.

It is not a referendum on joining the EU! Just on whether the negotiations should continue. The aim is to add democratic legitimacy to the process.
