Tldr: Qatar and US whine that their companies have to comply as well, EU adjusted rule to apply only for 1000 and more employe companies, rather than the previous 250.
Qatar and US still whine, because rule still apply to US and Qatar companies.

My Opinion: EU should just ignore pressure from US and Qatar, because tariffs are applied anyway and gas/oil supply will be used as leverage anyway, as US and Qatar will just demand more / other things to “ensure” supply of gas/oil / low tariffs

Only way out is proper production within EU, going as oil/gas free as possible and focus on trade with partners that aren’t blackmailing EU like US/Qatar
