Sooo the Kurds can get used and then fucked yet again? Sure ok

Also how does turkey feel about the us starting a civil war in Iran with the Kurds to take over? That seems inconvenient

A kurdish controlled iran doesn’t seem possible, a breakaway kurdistan in former nw iran is more likely.

That would tempt turkiye into military action, giving the russian regime in the us an excuse to get belligerent with an eu member. An independant kurdistan would likely get the sympathy of many other eu members, so even if turkiye plays it cool, it creates tension within the eu and something russia can promise turkiye that the eu probably can’t.

an excuse to get belligerent with an EU member

Which EU member are we talking about here? It’s not very clear, since Turkey isn’t one

It’s almost like Putin wants all of this to happen. I wonder why things work out that way 🤔

Please resist reducing all of this to Putin or Trump. Iran has been a target of western interests for 80 years, with plenty of bipartisan warmongering in the last 25.

Ah, the Kurds, who have been betrayed and abandoned by the US in Iraq and in Syria multiple times? Whom Turkey still considers a major threat, those Kurds?

Great. This is going to go great.

So why not turn the tables and get the sleeper cells in the disunited states to foment armed rebellion there?
